Сonference dedicated to preservation of traditional family values held at Presidential Library
The issues of promoting national cultural heritage in the electronic environment in order to popularize state policy in the field of family protection and preservation of traditional family values were considered on April 24, 2024 at the annual scientific and practical conference, that was held at the Presidential Library. The event was timed to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the Presidential Library.
The Presidential Library’s collection tells about family values in Russia
The Presidential Library features the collection Family and traditional family values in Russia as the basis of Russian statehood. The history of the development of the family institution in Russia from the times of Ancient Rus' to the present is based on materials from the library's collections. Considerable attention is paid to state policy to preserve and strengthen family values in the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation. Separately highlighted are the stories of providing assistance to the families of military and government employees. The collection also reveals the peculiarities of family relations of various peoples of Russia and issues of raising children.

The International Scientific and Educational Festival dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin held at the Presidential Library
Today, on April 19, 2024, the Reserve Center of the Presidential Library in Moscow hosted an International Scientific and Eeducational festival on the theme: "Yuri Gagarin - a Hero of our time", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Hero of the Soviet Union, test pilot Yuri A. Gagarin. The festival is organized by the autonomous non-profit organization "Unique World" with the support of the administration of Vologda region.
