On February 21, 2012 in the Presidential Library the solemn opening of the exhibition project dedicated to the heritage of Russian photo artist SM Prokudin-Gorsky and preservation of the country's history in photographs was held. Within the framework of the project works of the famous Yamal artist and master-bone carver, member of the Union of Russian Artists SA Luginin were presented. The presentation was attended by library partners to organize the exhibition - the official representatives of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, whose visit program included a meeting with the General Director of the Presidential Library, AP Vershinin. The grand niece of S.M. Prokudin-Gorsky NA Naryshkin-Prokudin-Gorskaya took part in the ceremony. She presented personal photographs, documents, items from the family archive to the exhibition and presented her book of memoirs to the Presidential Library. "Family saga: Seconds, minutes, century ... ". The inauguration ceremony ended with a concert program with the participation of the musicians of the creative ensemble "St. Petersburg Ensemble of Cellists."
