On the postcard photo of the panorama of the southern coast of Crimea, opening from the observation platform of the Baydarskie Gates. The photo shows the Church of the Resurrection of Christ on Red Rock. It was built in 1892 according to the project of Academician NM Chagin in memory of the rescue of Emperor Alexander III and his family in the wreck of the train on October 17, 1888 at the station of Borki of the Kursk-Kharkov railway. Funds for construction were allocated by the tea-grower A. G. Kuznetsov, the owner of the Foros estate, located under the Red Rock. Monument of Russian architecture of the late XIX century .
