The inscription on the engraving informs that it was performed under the care of the hegumen of the monastery of Gerasim in 1800. The Tikhvin monastery is depicted in the state in which he was at the end of the XVIII century, when in 1795 the stone monastery walls were completed. In the center of the pozema are the ancient cathedrals of the 16th century. (around 1515, 1591-1593 and 1600), surrounded by an internal "castle" of the times of Ivan the Terrible, around - the walls of the late 18th century. The river Tikhvinka with a bridge across it, surrounding temples and apartment houses, fields and copses complete the image of the Tikhvin monastery.
