The documentary-publicistic video film dedicated to the XXXII Summit of the G8 heads of state and government was filmed by director Zhanna Romanova in 2006. The international meeting took place in the Konstantinovsky Palace of Strelna from July 15 to 17, 2006. The video footage, shot in the genre of cinematography, shows the arrival of the heads of state in the Konstantinovsky Palace, the meeting of the summit, briefings, the work of correspondents and the press center, views of St. Petersburg and London. The analytical part of the film about the results of the summit is presented by an interview with Russian politician, ex-governor of St. Petersburg Valentina Matvienko and British political scientist, professor of Kent University Richard Sakwa .
