The monument to Alexander Pushkin is located in Dnepropetrovsk, on Pushkin Avenue. Established November 14, 1901. The authors of the project - the architect GI Panafutin and the sculptor I. Ya. Gunzburg. Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin in 1820 was in Ekaterinoslav as a supervised exile for 18 days. Just at that time two brothers-robbers fled from Ekaterinoslav prison, which inspired the poet to create the poem "The Robbers"
