In the photo: souvenir badge "40 years old". The icon in the form of a circle with a jagged gold frame, is fixed on a block of red color with the inscription: "40 years" and a laurel branch. In the center of the icon is a symbolic image of the Order of Victory, inscribed in a pentagon of red color. Yellow metal. Red and gray enamels. Stamping. Diameter 32 mm, the size of the shoe 22x19 mm. Pin fastening. On the reverse side - brand of the manufacturer: Mytishchi Plant of Experimental and Souvenir Products, price 30 kop. Location: From a private collection. - On the souvenir badge the image of the Order "Victory" - the highest military order of the USSR, established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR from 8.11.1943. After a radical change during the Great Patriotic War in 1943, the leadership of the country decided to establish a higher military order for awarding special distinguished commanders. There were 20 awards and seventeen cavaliers (three were awarded twice, one was awarded posthumously). The sign of the Order "Victory" is made of platinum, it is a convex five-pointed ruby star, fringed with diamonds. In between the ends of the star, the divergent rays are also decorated with diamonds. The middle of the star is a circle covered with blue enamel, bordered with a laurel-oak wreath. In the center of the circle is a golden image of the Kremlin wall with the Lenin Mausoleum and the Spassky Tower in the center. Above the image is an inscription with white enamel letters "USSR". In the lower part of the circle on the red enamel ribbon the inscription with white enamel letters "Victory"
