The exhibition was opened on December 5, 2006 of the year. Exhibits of the exhibition are items of the collection "Decorative and Applied Art", most of which are samples of the Orthodox cult, stored in the sacristy of Novgorod monasteries. On January 13, 2014, the exposition was dismantled. Pectoral icons and crosses were intended to be worn on the breast (persians) over clothes by clergymen, the higher clergy, princes and the tsar.
