Work on collecting information about the Russian nobles was undertaken by GF Miller in the 1770s. in the Archives of the Collegium of Foreign Affairs and in the Archive Archive as a result of Catherine II's order to provide information on the following issues: 1. What are the legalizations for the nobility? 2. What were the services of the nobility and what are they now? and 3. Choose evidence for the nobility. The ultimate goal of the work was to compile a complete Genealogical book. In the book the material is located in accordance with the questions posed by Catherine II. |
