The left side of the icon on the bed depicts the mother of John the Baptist, righteous Elizabeth, under the bed - the episode "Suckling the baby". To the right of the Christmas scene, the story "The Name-giving of John Zacharias" is depicted, in which John the Baptist's father, the prophet Zechariah, is shown seated with a sign in his hand, on which the name of John is written.
