Exposition "Russian icon of the XI - XIX centuries" ", where the exhibits are located, was opened on May 18, 2004 and is valid until now. In the iconography of festive plots, scenes of twelve holidays are illustrated - the 12 most important events of the Gospel history in Orthodoxy. Biblical subjects in the album include the New Testament scenes that were not included in the twelve-day celebrations. To the lively subjects are icons dedicated to scenes of the lives of saints. The fourteenth part of the album includes: a cover-saver, 17 photos of the icon "St. Theodore Stratilat with Life". The photographs show a general view and fragments of the icon.
The icon presented in the album is a temple image of the church of Theodore Stratelates on the Creek. The icon depicts the great martyr, the serpent-warrior Saint Theodore Stratilat, who lived in the 4th century. in Hercules and suffered for the Christian faith. In the middle of the icon is depicted a saint in full military vestments.
