The sixteenth part of the album includes: a cover-screen saver, 19 photos of the icon "The Battle of Novgorodians with Suzdalians" The photos depict the general appearance and fragments of the icon
The plot of the icon, presented in the album, is based on the events of 1170, according to which thanks to the icon "Our Lady of the Sign" the Novgorodians repulsed the siege of the city by the army of the Suzdal prince Mstislav Andreyevich. The composition icon consists of three arranged in different parts (registers) a transfer ceremony of the icon "Our Lady of the Sign" from the Church of the Savior's Transfiguration on Ilin Street to the Novgorod Detinets. In the left part of the second register there is a transferred icon installed on the defensive wall of the city, in the center of the register are shown the negotiations of the ambassadors, during which the Suzdal fire on the Novgorod army. In the lower register depicts the victory of the Novgorodians: on the left the Novgorod army, led by saints Alexander Nevsky, Boris and Gleb, leaves the city walls, on the right is the Suzdal army, blinded the influence of the miraculous icon, running in disarray - Materials of the film "Russian icon in the collection of the Novgorod Museum Reserve" (dir Dyakonova T \u0026 Presidential Library BN Yeltsin 2012)
