The icon consists of three compositions: "Washing the Feet", "Taking Christ in Detention" or "Kiss of Judas", and "The Murder of Christ". These scenes illustrate the events of the Holy Week on the eve of crucified Christ On the composition "Washing the Feet" Christ during the Last Supper is washing his feet to his disciples, thereby giving a lesson of selfless service to each other.
