The photographs depict the architectural and sculptural composition "Cranes" located in Koltsovsky Square in the city of Kislovodsk. "Cranes" - a monument in honor of the inhabitants of Kislovodsk, who died during the Great Patriotic War. Opened on October 6, 1978. The authors of the monument are the sculptors brothers Mark and Lev Robermann, the architect - KI Valyarovsky. Funds for the construction of a sculptural composition gathered the inhabitants of the city. The monument is a 12-meter obelisk, crowned by three flying cranes. At the foot - a mother, kneeling, but not broken by grief. A number of cranes flying to the skies symbolize the eternal memory of the dead. On the pedestal the inscription: "Living before you in eternal debt." On the commemorative wall on the side of the obelisk, a list of dead soldiers was carved .
