The memorial sign" Baltic Wings "was was established in 1968 on the 6th kilometer of the Road of Life, in the Vsevolozhsk District of the Leningrad Region. The author of the project is the architect A. D. Levenkov. The monument is dedicated to the memory of the pilots-heroes of the military airfield "Priyutino", who defended the Road of Life. The basis of the memorial is the tailed plumage of the aircraft, which is riddled to the ground, with an emblem attached to it. On the concrete stele, near the monument, an explanatory inscription is cut out: "Here, in this field in 1941-1943 was the airfield of the Baltic Fleet aviation."
