The photograph shows the obelisk of the memorial complex on the mass grave of Soviet soldiers located at the site of the military general hospital cemetery. More than 4,4 thousand people who died in battles and died in hospitals were buried. The memorial in Chernyakhovsk was created in 1949. The monument is a curved tiled area with an arc covered by a high wall with memorial plaques.
