January 22 in Within the framework of the educational activity of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library branch in Tyumen region, a training event was organized jointly with the State Agrarian University of the Northern Trans-Ural Region (Tyumen) and the Tyumen Regional Scientific Library named after D. I. Mendeleyev. The event was attended by more than 40 students and teachers of Gymnasium No. 93 in Tyumen, GAOU SPO TO "Tyumen Forestry Technical School" and GAOU SPO TO "Yalutorovskiy Agrarian College." The guests got acquainted with the structure of the library, its subdivisions, functional capabilities, provided services, the composition of the fund, and also learned about the events held by the library. Olga Borisovna Adamovich, director of the Mendeleev Tyumen Regional Scientific Library, noted that one of the most important tasks of the library is to attract readers to the walls of the institution to get acquainted with the rich library of the Presidential Library named after D. Mendeleyev. B. N. Yeltsin. The lecturer of the Agrarian University Evgeny Anatolyevich Berezuyev read a popular science lecture on the stages and results of the Battle of Stalingrad, the political situation preceded it, the military strategic decisions used in the battle, the tactics of both sides, as well as the outcome and significance of one of the decisive battles of the Great Patriotic War . The Tyumen Branch of the Presidential Library intends to continue its educational activities in close cooperation with the education system of the region and the Tyumen Regional Scientific Library named after DI Mendeleyev.
