The banknote of the Bank of Russia of the 2014 model with a face value of 100 rubles ("Olympic note") was put into circulation on October 30, 2013. It is dedicated to the XXII Olympic Winter Games and the XI Paralympic Winter Games of 2014 in Sochi. The denominations are issued in series AA, aa and Aa (replacement series). The note is made on white high-quality cotton paper. A protective polymeric transparent tape is introduced into the paper to form a transparent window containing an optically variable element in the form of a snowflake. A filigree watermark is located at the top of the banknote. The banknote has a vertical ornamental decoration. The author of the sketch: Pavel Bushuyev, design: Sergey Kozlov ("Goznak"). On the front side there is a figure of a snowboarder, Olympic objects of a coastal cluster in Sochi. On the reverse side - Olympic Stadium "Fisht" in Sochi.
