The photo shows a monument to soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War - "Zvezda" stele. At the intersection of the streets of the Comintern and the First of May in the village of Borisovka in a mass grave are buried 13 soldiers who died in battles in August 1943, a commemorative obelisk was erected on the grave. In 1981, on the initiative of Fedor Dmitrievich Kulikovsky, chairman of the Borisovsky MPMK, opposite the mass grave, near the office building, a reinforced concrete stele "Zvezda" was built, with illumination - in the evening, at the top, a five-pointed star is clearly visible - a symbol of military valor. On the wall near the stela are inscribed the words: "Here are buried soldiers who died in battles for their country during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." and lists the names of 13 rank-and-file officers and officers who liberated Borisovka and gave their lives for their Motherland. On the stele - an inscription from the words cast in metal: "At the cost of tears and maternal pain, the war was paid in full, we honor the memory of the fallen and do not let a new war break out"
