Fragment of the monument - a sculptural group: a doctor and a nurse support a bandaged wounded warrior; 6. Fragment of the monument is a sculptural group: the nurse provides assistance to the wounded soldier, and a soldier standing next to them covers them with his cloak-tent.
The monument to teachers and students of the Leningrad Sanitary and Hygienic Medical Institute, who died during the Great Patriotic War, is installed in the courtyard of the reception room department of the hospital of Peter the Great. Opened in 1985. Authors of the project: architect Ya.N. Lukin and sculptor N.A. Aliev. The monument is a stele of two granite cubic designs with a carved inscription: "Eternal Memory and Glory to LSGMI Staff and Students" and the dates "1941 - 1945". In two round niches of the upper part there are small bronze sculptural groups: a doctor and a nurse support a wounded soldier wounded; the nurse provides assistance to the wounded soldier, and the soldier who is standing next to them covers them with his cloak-tent.
