Letters from Vasily Nikitich Sokolov from besieged Leningrad to his wife Nadezhda Fyodorovna Sokolova from July 1941 to December 1942. Before the text of each letter the date and place are indicated: Leningrad 23 / VII 41, Leningrad 31 / VII 41, Leningrad 12 / VIII 41, Leningrad 26 / VIII 41, Leningrad 9 / XI 41, 2 / XII 41 Leningrad, Leningrad 20 / III 42, Leningrad 1 / IV 42, Leningrad 3 / IV 42, Leningrad 7 / VI 42, Leningrad 18 / VI 42, 18 / XII 42 years (the author's spelling is preserved). The dimensions of the sheets are different (from 27.5 and 19.5 cm in length to 14.5 and 13 cm in width). Letters are written on white and green paper in a ruler. On the letters of 1942, a stamp with the USSR emblem and inscriptions: "Viewed by the Military Censorship of Leningrad", "Viewed by Military Censorship" .
