June 7-8, 2012 in The Presidential Library hosted the third international meeting of high-ranking representatives responsible for security issues. The conference was aimed at finding answers to pressing issues of global security. Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation N. P. Patrushev, Governor of St. Petersburg G. S. Poltavchenko, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the North-Western Federal District N. A. Vinnichenko took part in the forum. From foreign representatives - secretaries of security councils, assistants to presidents and prime ministers for national security, ministers, heads of special services from 60 countries, including representatives of the UN. For two days representatives of different countries discussed the problems of global energy security, improving the forms and methods of countering piracy. The issues of uniting efforts in ensuring international information security were touched upon, which is one of the priorities of our time
