The presented edition is a small album, in which images of various historical monuments are collected. The publication is divided into sections depending on the locality - Novgorod, Kiev, Vladimir monuments and monuments of Rus of Lithuania, Moscow State, Russian Empire. Among them are the views of Staraya Ladoga, the plan of Novgorod in 1169, the ruins of the Golden Yaroslav's Gate in Kiev in 1037, and so on.
