On the postcard photo of two villas "Cameo" and "Dolphin", located in the village of Simeiz. The owner of the villas until 1917 was Nina Konstantinovna Radevich, who bought several plots of land in Simeiz in 1912-1915. In 1912, the construction of the villa "Cameo" began, the author of the project is not known. The building is built in a combination of two styles - neoclassicism and Italian neo-Gothic. At the entrance there is a cameo depicting a girl with a grapevine - presumably this image gave the name to the villa. From the very beginning, the villa "Cameo" was intended for delivery to the rich by holidaymakers. After the nationalization of the property, a sanatorium was located in the building of the villa "Cameo". During the earthquake in 1927, the building of the villa was badly damaged, then it was restored and given to the sanatorium named after NA Semashko. Villa "Dolphin" was built in the style of neoclassicism. The large building of the villa was used only for renting and could accommodate up to 60 people. After the nationalization of the building, the villas were used as a sleeping building of the sanatorium. Frunze. To date, the villa "Dolphin" is one of the buildings of the sanatorium. N. A.
