Poetess, prose writer, journalist, historiographer, art critic, one of the first Soviet science fiction writers. For a book about TG Shevchenko in 1941, MS Shaginyan received a doctorate in philology, was a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR
