15 On May 16, 2013, as part of the educational activities of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library branch in Tyumen Region, a training event was held, organized jointly with the Education Deportation of Tyumen and the Tyumen Regional Scientific Library named after D. I. Mendeleyev. The event was attended by more than 40 students and teachers. The guests got acquainted with the structure of the library, its subdivisions, functional capabilities, provided services, the composition of the fund, and also learned about the events held by the library. The lecturer of the Agrarian University Evgeny Anatolyevich Berezuyev read the popular science lecture on the stages and results of the Battle of Kursk, the military strategic decisions used in the battle, the tactics of both sides, as well as the results and significance of one of the decisive battles of the Great Patriotic War. The Tyumen branch of the Presidential Library intends to continue its educational activities in close cooperation with the education system of the region and the Tyumen Regional Scientific Library named after DI Mendeleyev
