On the photo: Medal "For the capture of Budapest" by Vasily Finogenov ( 1902-1984). The medal is a regular circle with a diameter of 32 mm. On the front side of the coin: in the center there is the inscription "FOR THE BUDAPEST'S TAKE-UP", above the inscription at the top is a five-pointed star, at the bottom there is an image of a sickle and a hammer on two crossed laurel branches. On the reverse side of the medal the date of the capture of Budapest: "February 13, 1945", over the date - a five-pointed star. All inscriptions and images on the medal are convex. The front and back sides of the coin are bordered with a ledge. The medal with the ear and ring is connected to a pentagonal shoe covered with orange silk moire ribbon, in the middle of the tape - a blue strip. Features of the medal: the ear of the medal is attached by soldering. This option was manufactured immediately after the end of the Great Patriotic War in 1945-1946. Location: From private collection
