In the selection of materials included: a photograph of Yuri Mikhailovich Chigirev (1987, in a ceremonial suit, with awards), a photograph of the Order of Honor and a certificate for the state award of the Russian Federation. In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of January 15, 1997 Chigirev Yury Mikhailovich was awarded the Order of Honor. Order No. 3253. The Badge of the Order of Honor is an eight-pointed cross, covered with blue enamel, in the center of which is a round medallion covered with white enamel, with a voluminous image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, bordered with a laurel wreath. The diameter of the order is 42 mm, made of silver with enamel. The reverse side of the sign is smooth, without enamel. In the lower part of the reverse side there is a relief sign No. after which the award number is engraved. The sign of the order with the ear and ring is connected with a pentagonal shoe, covered with a silk moire ribbon of blue color with a white longitudinal strip. The certificate to the state award: No. 173732. The document is filled with black ink, stamped. On the certificate is the handwritten signature of the President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin. Location: From a private collection. - Chigirev Yury Mikhailovich (born January 20, 1925 in Rostov, Yaroslavl Region) - went to the front in January 1943. He studied at the Tambov Machine-Gun School. Member of the Battle of Kursk. He fought in the Bryansk Front. Was injured. He fought in the third Belorussian Front. Participated in the combat operation "Bagration". During the war he also served as a cryptographer. Has numerous awards .
