Two postal blocks "Games Emblem and Olympic Rings" from the series "XI Olympic Games in Sapporo (Japan, 3-13 / II)". The nominal value is 50 kopecks. One of the blocks went into circulation in January (pre-Olympic release), the other - in March (post-Olympic edition) in 1972. Circulations: 1.1 million copies. and 600 thousand copies. respectively. The inscriptions: "Sapporo'72", "Sapporo'72", "XI Winter Olympic Games", "Mail of the USSR". The block from the post-Olympic edition has a black overprint of the text (high seal): "Soviet athletes won 8 gold medals, 5 silver, 3 bronze" .
