On September 1, 2011, the opening of the thematic year of the Presidential Library dedicated to the state power was held at the Presidential Library named after Boris N. Yeltsin. Within the framework of the event, the conference "State Power in the Information Society" was held, where questions were discussed on education in the field of "e-government", on official portals for the publication of legal information, "electronic justice", state measures to develop innovative means of access to information for remote and hard-to-reach regions of Russia. The senior scientific employee of the National Agency for the Information Society of the Republic of Korea and the head of the Information Services and Technologies Development Department of the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the National Agency for the Information Society of the Republic of Tatarstan IM Nizamov told about the projects in the field of electronic government in videoconference mode. A new electronic collection of the Presidential Library "State Power" was dedicated to the history and modern stage of development of state power in Russia. One of the events of the new thematic year of the library was the exhibition "Document Management: Traditions and Innovations", which opened on the same day.
