The edition "Donets of the XIX century" is a model of local biographical literature. In the form of brief biographies, biographies of military and civilian Don figures of the 19th century are presented. The second volume contains 123 biographical notes. In two volumes of collective work 231 biographies are placed. The book was prepared by a group of enthusiastic patriots of the city of Novocherkassk with a view to preserving for the descendants of the memory of the heroic past of the Don Cossacks. |
