The exhibition is devoted to the development of constitutional ideas in Russia from the first attempts to limit the autocracy with the help of the Conditutions - the conditions put forward by the Supreme Privy Council to the future Empress Anna Ioannovna at her invitation to the throne in 1730, and the "Commission Commission on the Composition of a New Code" ideas of Alexander I, Alexander II and Nicholas II.
