Opened in 1853 on the middle terrace of the Vladimir Hill in honor of the Baptist of Russia, Grand Duke Vladimir Svyatoslavovich. The author of the project is the famous St. Petersburg sculptor V. Demut-Malinovsky. The project was realized by sculptor P. Klodt von Jurgensburg and architect K.Ton (pedestal). The monument has survived.
