Pavel Kirillovich Kirillov, a native of the Yurkov village of the Nikitovsky district of the Voronezh region - participant of the Great Patriotic War. Since February 1943 he was enrolled in the 25 Guards Sapper Engineer Battalion of the 2nd Belorussian Front, which was based at that time on the Orel-Kursk direction. The battalion built bridges, bridges, mined and cleared facilities, provided river crossings, delivered fuel and lubricants to the unit. Victory Day on May 9, 1945 PK Kirillov met in Potsdam. Demobilized on January 1, 1946 in the military rank of corporal, in the post - a sapper. He has awards: "For the capture of Berlin" (09.06.1945), "For victory over Germany" (09.05.1945), "For military merits" (30.11.1945), Order of the Patriotic War II degree (10.11.1985).
