Nikolayev. The House of the Merchants' Assembly immediately became popular among the people of Kiev. There were ball-masquerades, family celebrations, charitable lotteries, literary and musical evenings. The Kiev musicians and guest performers who spoke here were delighted with the perfect acoustics of his hall with columns. The building is preserved, today it hosts the National Philharmonic of Ukraine
