The Marine Soul memorial complex, located on Victory Square in Polar, includes a monument to the warrior- liberator, cutting of the diesel submarine of the project "641-B" and the Alley of Glory, where each Hero of the Soviet Union from the city of Polyarny has a commemorative plate. The monument was opened on July 26, 2003. Complex "Sea Soul" was the last project of the sculptor L.E. Kerbel, who served during the Great Patriotic War in the Northern Fleet. In 2008, the city of Polar was awarded the honorary title "City of Military Glory", on October 16, 2010 in the Victory Square was installed the stele "Polar City - the city of military glory" .
