Postcards from the souvenir collection (consisting of 80 double-sided illustrated cards), one for each province of the Russian Empire in the form it existed in 1856. Each postcard provides an overview of the culture, history, economy and geography of the province. On the front side of the card, the main features of the province are described: rivers, mountains, large cities and key industries. On the back of each postcard are a map and a seal of the province, information on the population is shown, as well as traditional clothing of local residents. |
