On December 10, 2010 the delegation of the Presidential Library named after B.N. Yeltsin visited the Volgograd region. During the visit, working meetings were held with the heads of the Volgograd Regional Museum of Local History and the State Historical and Memorial Museum-Reserve "The Battle of Stalingrad." An important part of the delegation's work was the visit to the Volgograd Regional Scientific Library named after M. Gorky, on the basis of which in 2011 it is planned to open a regional branch of the Presidential Library named after B.N. Yeltsin. The result of the visit was the signing of the Agreement on Cooperation for the Establishment of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library in Volgograd between the Governor of the Volgograd Region A. G. Brovko and the General Director of the Presidential Library A. P. Vershinin. |
