The photo shows the monument "The Soldier-Liberator", dedicated to the memory of soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War. The monument was erected on the grave of an unknown soldier located at the intersection of Graivoronskaya and Novoborisovskaya streets in the village of Borisovka (Belgorod region). It is a sculpture of a Soviet soldier holding a helmet and machine gun in his hands. The sculpture rises on the pedestal. The monument was established in 1977. On August 7, 2015, on the 72nd anniversary of the liberation of the village of Borisovka from the Nazi invaders, the remains of 11 soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War were reburied at the monument "Soldier-Liberator". Remains were found by employees of the grain company during construction work on the western outskirts of the village .
