The photo shows a commemorative token in honor of the Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolai Pavlovich Evsyukov, installed at the railway station Kulinovka, Borisov district, Belgorod region. It is a metal obelisk with a star. On the marble slab there is an inscription: "Evsyukov Nikolai Pavlovich, was born in the village of Oktyabrskaya Gotnya in 1914. He died at the crossing of the Dnieper in 1944. He was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union." The commander of the company of the 6th Guards Mechanized Brigade (2nd Guards Mechanized Corps, 46th Army, 2nd Ukrainian Front) guard Senior Lieutenant Evsyukov from October 29 to November 3, 1944 participated in the defeat of the enemy garrison in the settlement of Ill'o ( south-east of Budapest, Hungary), where about 200 were destroyed and 100 German soldiers and officers were taken prisoner. He died in battle on November 3, 1944. He was buried in the village of Illho (Hungary). In 1974, the burial of NP Evsyukov and other Soviet soldiers was transferred from the settlement of Illho to the Hungarian settlement Erken. The title of Hero of the Soviet Union was awarded on March 24, 1945. .
