"Notes on the journey to the ends of the world" - an essay by Tulishen (1667-1741), a Chinese official who was part of the first Chinese embassy in Russia (1712-1715). "Memoirs" became the first in the history of China work on Russia. The book gives geographical information, descriptions of cities, villages, villages, religions, nationalities, climate, troops, plants and animals, natural conditions and humanitarian relations in Russia at that time. In the print edition of Zapiski, the first Chinese map was also published, on which the territory of Russia, known to the Chinese, was designated. The publication of "Notes" was a significant event in the history of cultural exchange and official intergovernmental relations between China and Russia. As soon as the book was published, it aroused widespread interest in the world. It was translated into French, German, Russian, English and Japanese .
