The memorial "Anchor" was erected in 1967 at the turn, where in September 1941 a battalion of cadets of the Naval Economic Intendant School of the Navy stopped the offensive of German troops. According to the original design, the monument was a stele of pink Karelian granite, on which a list of the names of the dead fighters and commanders, an image of the medal "For the Defense of Leningrad", the ship's anchor were knocked out. The stela was surrounded by a fence of four ship's anchors, connected by a chain. In 1970 the monument was reconstructed. The work was carried out by the organization "Lendorstroy". After reconstruction, the monument is a structure in the form of two combined concrete slabs, cut by embrasures, imitating part of the wall of the destroyed sea fortress. On the concrete surface of monolithic plates there appear relief panels with the image of a star, a sickle and a hammer. On the left slab a memorial plaque with the names of the cadets and officers who fell on this line was fixed (a fragment of the original stele). On the second plate is placed a memorial tablet with brief information about the history of the monument, the authors of the project and the builders. Before the memorial, two ship anchors resting on granite boulders are installed. The artist O. Kukushkin; architect V. Tsitsin; engineers A. Tolochko, I. Iokhin, M. Komarovsky. The memorial is included in the complex of memorial structures "Green Belt of Glory".
