Lydia Panteleyevna Kokhan (1924 - 1943) during the Great Patriotic War was in the ranks of the youth underground in the occupied by the German troops of Surazh. The underground fighters established contact with the partisan detachments "Vpered" and "Neustrashimye" of the Bryansk region.
