"Kologrivsky Forest" is a state nature reserve in the Kostroma region. Created on January 21, 2006. It is located in the northeastern part of the Russian Plain, the rivers of the reserve are left tributaries of the Volga. The reserve is formed in order to preserve the southern taiga natural complexes of the Russian Plain - unique ecosystems of native dark coniferous forests. The territory of the reserve includes two unique preserved indigenous massifs of the southern European taiga that have not undergone landscape changes. On the territory of the Kologrivsky Forest, 38 out of 72 plant species, rare and endangered in Kostroma region, grow. Three species are listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation. The fauna of the reserve includes about 300 species of vertebrates. 12 species of animals are listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation, 69 species are rare and endangered. - The survey was carried out in a coniferous-broadleaf forest in the floodplain of the Sekhi River. This photo is the first evidence of finding the Sarcosome fungus globular on the territory of the Kologrivsky Forest reserve. Fresh mushroom Sarcosoma globosum (Sarcosoma globosum) is similar to a barrel with a lid, filled with a transparent light liquid - "earth oil". Mushroom Sarcozoma globular appears in late April - early May, once in 10 years, grows in groups of 8-10 pieces, grows in old age spruce and spruce-fir forests, due to deforestation disappears everywhere. In 2008, the fungus Sarcozoma globular is included in the Red Book of the Russian Federation. - Materials used: Wikipedia, article "Kologrivsky Forest" (URL: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9A%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%B3%D1% 80% D0% B8% D0% B2% D1% 81% D0% BA% D0% B8% D0% B9% D0% BB% D0% B5% D1% 81) .
