National Park "Nechkinsky" is located in the south-eastern part of the Udmurt Republic. Established in 1997 for the protection and recreational use of valuable natural complexes of the Kama River valley. It occupies an area of ​​20752 ha in the middle of the Kama River valley and the coastal part of the Votkinsk Reservoir. The territory of the national park is located at the junction of three natural and climatic zones: taiga, broad-leaved forests and forest-steppe. The National Park "Nechkinsky" is one of the most valuable reserves of wild nature, where unique arrays of floodplain forests, river, lake and marsh ecosystems, the animal world of forests, natural, historical and cultural complexes and objects of the Middle Kama region, which have ecological and historical value, are preserved.
