The author of the sculpture was VG Kozenyuk (1938-1997), the sculptors AA Palmin and AS Charkin carried out the finalization. The monument is a bronze equestrian rider, who rises in the saddle, clad in mail armor and a helmet, in the left hand holds a spear, the right hand is withdrawn to the side. A high pedestal is made of pink granite. At the foot of the monument on the memorial plate in the form of a scroll, the inscription: "To the Holy and Blessed Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky 2002". The monument is set in the center of Alexander Nevsky Square
