May 8, 2013, in the conference hall of the Museum of Fine Arts (Veliky Novgorod) the exhibition "From the photo archive of the Great Patriotic War", provided by Nonprofit Foundation "Museum of Avant-Garde" (Moscow). The exhibition includes 100 photographs dating to 1941-1946, made by photojournalists, which have gone down in history of the Russian and world photography.

From July 17-19, 2013 in Ulan-Ude is held the IV Baikal Information Forum, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Republic of Buryatia.  

July 15, 2013 Vladimir Putin visited Gogland Island in the Gulf of Finland, where he looked over a number of projects the Russian Geographical Society (RGS) is carrying out.  

July 13, 2013 the Amur Regional Center of the Presidential Library (Blagoveshchensk) opened an exhibition of Soviet photo technique. The exhibition “Through the aperture of time” will run until August 1, and is timed to the Day of the photographer (July 12).
