The collection, timed to coincide with the 240th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian poet, translator, mentor of Alexander II, author of the lyrics of the national anthem of the Russian Empire “God Save the Tsar!” Vasily Andreyevich Zhukovsky, includes his works, archival documents, studies of the poet’s life and oeuvre, diaries and correspondence, as well as materials on perpetuation of his memory.
