Sholokhov Mikhail Alexandrovich (1905–1984)
This section is dedicated to Mikhail Alexandrovich Sholokhov, one of the most famous Soviet writers of the 20th century, a journalist, screenwriter, and war correspondent. In 1965, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for the epic novel The Quiet Don, one of the most significant works about the Don Cossacks during the crucial years of the revolution and the Civil War.
