By the end of 1916 a deep economic, political and social crisis has ripened in Russia. Economic devastation, generated by the impact of war, the aggravation of a poverty and the miseries of the masses, the growth of antiwar sentiments and a general dissatisfaction with the autocracy, all this has led in February 1917 to the revolutionary uprising (read more…)
